I ordered my new computer and have the whole thing put together…except for a damn cpu fan. I forgot to order one with everything else (just kind of assumed it would come with the processor) so I've got a brand spankin' new pc that I can't fire up until I get a fan. It should be here Monday…damnit.

I feel your pain. I bought a new CPU that even included a fan and heatsink, too bad the fan didn't work....****ers.

I know I have hours of installing sh1t ahead of me...would have loved to get that out of the way this weekend.

most maybe all OEM cpu's dont come with the stock fans. as far as i know ALL retail boxed cpu's come with the stock hsf.

yea, I wasn't paying much attention when I was ordering. Must have been all the damn beer:-)
