i did not hear or see anything about this movie till today. it was a preview cause i saw that new exorcism movie. all i know is that The Rock is in it and it looked really kick ass, i just hope its not as bad as the first RE movie, that movie was cool and all but didnt stick out to me.

I haven't seen the trailer on the big screen but the "fps cam" looked kinda crappy when I saw it.

the preview looked pretty cool. However how much of a story can the build off of DOOM the game, all u do is run around shootin shit. I know the original storyline was scientists on mars opened a gateway to hell somehow but the preview looked like it followed the mars part only and made the creatures out to be aliens.

It did look kickass however and i will proably rent it.

When I first saw the teaser trailer a few months ago, I thought that the movie would be bad, but at least fun.

When I saw the full trailer last week, I thought the movie would be just plain bad. FPS cam, wtf is that shit? I likely wouldn't be able to watch it even if I wanted to if that point of view is in there too much.

yeah, the FPS cam viewpoint looked pretty silly to me.

the plot is scientists on Mars experimenting with DNA unleash something somehow...so it's not even aliens....conspicuously close to RE, minus the virus part.

I think that'll be a renter...if anything...gotta see more to know.

btw: why is it always the scientists' fault???? DAMN MAN!!! :)
