wassup guys...

I just got cs source with half life 2. Anywayz i play cs source FINE. But my latency is like 300 on some servers and like 100's in another. I c people with like latency of 30. I'm like what the hell!!! HELP DUDES HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS PROBLEM? is it because of my internet connection or internet secruity? I already set my things all the way low.

Things to look for...

-Where do you live compared to the server?

-Whats your connection?(dial up, wireless dsl, cable?)

-Are you sorting the server list by ping?

i play games in asia. My connection is dsl i think. When i play fy maps such as iceworld, simpsons, etc the game is SMOOTH but some servers with high latency. On DE maps such as dust, italy, assault and those high building maps my games goes extremly choppy. I can see myself move but very slow like major lag. WHY?? Like iceworld works like heaven but dust and those large stages are so laggy.

What kinda system do you have?

-Video Card?

-System memory?

-Processor?
