Ok, got started on HL2 last night…the game rocks.

I'm stuck early in the game. I'm in some big room half full of water and there's a red valve thing. When I turn it, the room fills more with water but I can't figure out how to get the hell out of this section.

I know some of you are past this spot…what the heck do I have to do?

Break the boards on the floor releasing the boxes which float. U should be able to figure it out from there.

Cool. Now tonight I won't have to spend another hour just running around that room going WTF WTF WTF!!!

yeah there is much more fun to come... my favorite level is called Sand Traps with big crazy spiders who make scary noises, and you must jump across the map from rock to rock or skid or some other things laying around and u dont wannt to touch the sand because as soon as you do you are sorrounded with spiders. Im already in chapter 12 and total number of chapters is 15, can Valve make an expansion by the time im done with the game tonight?
