um the last time i played cs was right before they came out with 1.6, so i was wondering if anyone could tell me how / where to put the map files after i have downloaded them.

Here's where mine are after a default install of Source:


C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\Your-ID\counter-strike source\cstrike\maps

ok well i think i put the files in the right place BUT when i get into the map it has some weird loading bar and i cant move. OH and i can still see my mouse cursor. maybe you know what i did wrong?

well i was just trying the first one on my list just to see if it works, so it was the ALAMO. i dont think it has to do with the map..........
