Hey im new and i was wondering how do i chat in game? In other games i just press enter to chat, but in this one that doesnt work. Also, how do i buy better guns, the only thing that i can buy is armor, is it even possible to buy better guns? lol

Just go in to the menu and change your settings when you're in CS. You can select which keys do what and change all the controls. Even if you don't change anything you'll be able to see what all the default controls are.

and you do that by pressing tilda. I'm not sure what the default for chat is buty mine is Y and U... default might be K. But like Eye said go into options by pressing the tilda button (right below esc key) and it will tell you.

~ is the tilda key

Y is the default talk to everyone key
U is the default team talk

and to buy guys... press "b" and then a list will come up from there and show you each gun.

I'm a fan of the auto shottie myself. It pisses people off but I enjoy that too:D

There is a reason the m4 and ak are the most widely used guns, they are all around weapons. M4 is more of a sprayer and the AK is more of a small burst type if not one shot at a time gun. In the end its all personal preference so make up your own mind :p

My personal preference is for the silenced m4. Low recoil, slightly less damage than un-silenced and it's nice and quiet for when you want to be sneaky.

Next choice would be ak. Quite a different gun in terms of it's monster recoil but amazingly accurate in 2 shot bursts and can be quite a HS machine if used right. Also it's very noisy so it's easy to know where one is.
