The HL2 expansion is out and available via steam download for $19.99
I purchased and downloaded it over the weekend and have been playing it on and off the last couple of days. I don't know how close I am to finishing it, but I might be close. It's really cool so far, and I think worth the $20 bucks.
As usual the expansion is packed with more puzzles and some pretty intense scenes. The other difference is you play alongside your female side kick (can't remember her name atm.)
Anyway, it's fun and I recommend it for all HL fans.
Oh, and I'm not sure if it was included before, but the expansion comes with HL1 deathmatch: source.
