it's posted for 400 dollars! How much are 4 digit steam IDs? I want one before the summer starts! =D

I heard my cousin telling me something about if u have a low ID that teams will be more willing to have you. Since this may mean you may be EXPERIENCED. IS it true? how much do these 4 digit accounts go for?

Not really. Most of the top teams know each other and probably will recognise that steamid. It's true that some teams will look for previous experience from sites that track steamids but it will become apparent soon enough whether or not you actually have any skill.

Really just a waste of money. If you're good it wont' matter how large your steamid is, the same way if you're bad it won't matter if you have a 4digit steamid, they'll just know that you're lame enough to buy it to impress people.

OH, I guess, but I kind of think of it as trading cards! I want a rare card =D

However most people sell these to people who want to join clans in the upper levels of leagues. Most of the time no-one will know you have a low steamid, unless you tell them to specifically look at status in console.

On the otherhand if you're terrible at CS it'll look worse for you! ;)

I don't know what is worst. The fact that it's listed as "CAL ready" or that people are bidding on it.

People have sold low digit steam ids for $200+. It's been going on quite a bit now. I think that technically it's against STEAM policy but how are they going to trace it?

That's probably why the last two digits were blanked out, so that it couldn't be traced.

Sad thing is that people buy this to gain entry into CAL-M clans that require "proof". However it's a fairly close community and they'll know you bought it and it'll be useless.

the whole thing is weak....what difference does it make what your steam id is? I know whatever mine is, I will continue to suck (at CS)...so what's the point?
