i'm running 512 ddr, 160 gig hardrive, 2.8 ghz pent-4, on board graphics card :mad: will i be able to run source smooth or should i get a card before i buy that 50 dollar game and not be able to play...1.6 runs 50-70 fps ping is always low

You should probably buy a card, onboard graphics will suck with Source, it draws too much power from your system. At the least go with a 9800Pro 128MB and that still gets me and avg of 40-60fps with my system so u might want to go bigger than that. The x800 and cards like that will work really well for you. Also u night look into gettin more ram, this would help too.
