View Full Version : XClio Windtunnel vs. CoolerMaster CM-690

Soldat
Alright with the computer I built over the summer I used the XClio windtunnel case. Recently though I have bee looking around at other computer cases because I don't like how this one looks and cools. Plus I think the fans are a little loud that came with it and I don't know where to purchase really good 250mm fans. So I did some looking around and came across the Cooler Master CM 690 and I think for a mid-tower case that it is pretty sweet looking and it has great airflow.

So what do you guys think. Should I just stick with the Xclio case I have already, or should I buy the Cooler Master CM 690 and sell my current one. I'm really leaning to buying the CM 690.

you get the white/silver 830 that was only like 150 after rebate because that thing is really tight.

Which fan is making too much noise, the CPU fan? For the cost of a case, you could just as easily get a fluid cpu cooler.

It's the 2x250cm fans that are loud. Most people say they aren't, but I am finding them to be loud. It could be how much air they move. These things move a lot of air.

Yeah, I bet they do. Well, you already got the new case, so let us know how well it works. Personally, getting new fans probably would have been cheaper, but if you need an excuse for a new case, I guess whatever works.
