View Full Version : Counter Strike Source Console

In counter-strike you could access a command prompt and tweak some settings like max_fps, etc. Is there a command prompt in counter strike source, and if so how do you get to it?

OK, I found how to get to the console/command prompt. In the keyboard setup screen there's an advanced option, you need to check the box (enable developer console) then when you press the ~ key during the game it will bring up the console.

It seems like there are quite a few new commands and I don't know what to change/how to tweak things at this point.

More counter-strike console research will be done and reported back:D

remember, you can also use the net_graph to get a more "detailed" report of latency and fps, etc...

and also the netgraph_pos command for deciding where you wanted it...

net_graph still works in source?

This thread was just showing people how to get the console open. The box you need to check (picture above) was not checked by default and I couldn't access the console until I checked it.
