Is the TK cash punishment feature working for everyone?

yup.. heard plenty of people bitching about it last night, (those who were "fined").. The general consensus was that players love it!

I'm thinking of bumping it up to 80%.

80 seems a little harsh, 30 doesnt seem enough tho. maybe 50-60 would be more suitable.

Specially if it's a nade kill, that can be a little harsh.

So far it doesn't look like the change feature for this works...so it's kind of a non issue right now:mad: I'll keep watching for a fix.

I didnt realize that after tking a player 30% of cash goes away, but if it does I think that is an AWSOME idea. I hate ****ing tkers.

It only "goes away" if the person who was TK'd selects that option. That's a cool thing about this mod...gives you options on how to punich someone who kills you:-)

I love those options because sometimes it can be an accident and you can just forgive them. I also think 30% is too low, it should be around 50-80%.

We all make mistakes and TK, but even if it was an accident, the result was because someone was careless, didn't take the time to confirm friend of foe.

I think most people are forgiving when it comes to TK. While playing on the server, I find that most people who TK'd were forgiven, unless it was someone who is a repeat offender, (just plain careless).

When I get TK'd, I wait to see if the offender apologizes, and if so, I forgive him/her. Otherwise, I punish, (unless the person TKs a lot, then apologies don't cut it. At that point, I consider banning.)

80% is just fine, imo. For most people, losing 80% would cut their funds down to a point where they can't buy anything more than kevlar, and ammo for their pistol.. can't get an automatic weapon. That's sending a message! The message being: "Check your target, asshole!" ;)

That's only if that option was chosen by the TKed player. It's not automatic. Although...

100% or nothing!! laf nah 50 or 60 its about good... taht could be the means to buy a rifle or not... that sounds about right
