heh. It's been great! The deagle's like it was in 1.5 where I could actually hit things with it. But yeah, it's been crazy recently. I think Source is my version. :)

Yesterday was particularily good for me. 30-kill Streak, and no it wasn't against Bots :P. Had a pretty bad time in Aztec when log was awping the crap out of me, and pretty much everyone else but prodigy is becoming one of my favourite maps to play. I credit most of my bullet registry to tweaking the hell out of my rates and finding out what works for me. :D

I was there watching that 30+ kill streak. Nice work indeed.

care to share your rates? I'm trying to tweak mine.. looking for some examples..

In general I get about 40-50 fps during firefights and occasionally as high as 80 but not for very long. I think it's important to set your fps_max to the high end of your average frames in-game since the sys_ticrate command, used to ensure better bullet registry in 1.6, is now mixed in with fps_max so keeping it at the default value of 300 is probably too high.

I would NOT recommend cl_interpolate 0.

As Bio can tell you the biggest problem I had with Source was the hitbox registry but I've realized it's all due to the netcode and not the game itself, well, mostly the netcode....

However using those command and update rates varies with your connection to the server since Bio gets lots of choke when using higher rates than the default values. I usually get no loss and maybe a choke of 1-2 during the game.
