I use to play cs all the time till I moved and lost my cable internet. Now I am using satallite. The probelm is this new steam program. Do you have to use Steam to play cs, hl on line? I updated all my hl, cs. and even cs:cz and still have not been able to play a game once online. What do I need to do?

Unfortunately the way that it is setup now you HAVE to use STEAM to play online since all the verification to the servers is done through it.

Go to www.steampowered.com and download STEAM and install it.

On the bright side at least Steam is free:)
