I have a ? how can i switch guns to right handed ? I tried pressing H and clicking on right hand, and nothing happens, also in console i typed cl_righthand 1 and it doesnt work, and in options i changed it to right hand and hit apply and still it show left hand gun. Hmm... I know it's in options somewhere, but you also said you already tried that. Next thing I can offer is to make sure that your config.cfg file isn't marked as "Read only", otherwise changes won't save. No idea if that's your problem though.

is this 1.6 or source your playing? because i had this problem on my moms computer and it cant be fixed... i tried everything. it was probably because her computer is a piece of shit but if your playing source i have no idea.

yeah but even if the config file is read-only, you should still be able to effect changes for that map by typing cl_righthand 1. Try typing in cl_righthand 0, then cl_righthand 1. Sometimes it resets. Also make sure you're not using any custom models for the guns that may not be mirrored correctly.
