looking at the results thus far, I would say would should get AMD in here to help sponsor CSGZ... As for me, my new AMD 64 is waiting for me to get home and slap it in my systems, and oh yeah, start playing Source...

Intel, but I'm admittedly biased by my paychecks. AMD64 is cool... but with no 64 Bit O/S it's just for looks and not at all functional... kind of like the pinky toe. I will give props to AMD for making it run 32 Bit w/ no performance hit, though... that was key.

Intel, just because their chips are more affordable.

Probably be a long time before I switch to 64-bit systems as that will require a whole new setup.

I have always used INTEL chips, thats I like them better but im sure if I would start with AMD from the begginind I would say ADM is the best. So i think its just matter which chiopmaker we start with we hold on to it saying its the best. AMD ans INTEL are bot good, and thay have different good and bad sides.

the only issue that i have with amd is that the level 1 memory cache isnt completely hierarchical, meaning that the level 2 cache doesnt necessarily contain everything contained within the level 1. but thats nitpicking. amd still way outperforms intel in terms of pipelining and throughput.
