I know what I'm going to use already, it's just a matter of blocking out a day to get it done.

i got experience in this area i used to run a vb board with a gallery called coppermine, its a free gallery that can be installed by anyone and its easy to use. Here is the link http://coppermine.sourceforge.net

its every easy to intergrate it with vb wont take long. If you guys need any other help with vb stuff i be happy to help i used the vb since the vb 2 so i got lots of expieriance with it. I hated the shit out of my vb. Let me know i be happy to help :)

I've used Coppermine before. It's pretty good, but just like phpbb is full of security holes and exploits....at least it was the last time I messed with it. I've been leaning towards http://www.photopost.com/ . It's not free, but I don't mind spending some $ for quality software.

Is your vBulletin board still online?

My board has been of since sept 04, i didnt have time to run a large scale site by my self, martin helped a little, but i got tired of it. I would recommend photopost its a great software if u gonna spend $$, Coppermine its good for a free, if u dont have cash to by it, also photopost can be connected to vb database. If u ever want to hack the vb and need help i could help, i would recommend a portal from
