The server has been down for the last 1/2 hour or so...not sure why. I have a request into support and expect we'll be back online soon.

The server went down again a few minutes ago and support has been contacted.

Hoping to get back online today. Last message from host:

I have a urgent status in for a recyle on this box. Once it comes online I am going to boot you backup and immediatly start finsihing up the server moves. Once the servers are placed on a new box there will be about a temp 5 minutes of downtime. What I may do is try and wait till late at night to complete the move unless the box goes offline again then I would do it at that time.

I've contacted them again this morning requesting a status update.

lol, nope, it's just one of those things. Our host is pretty good about staying on top of this stuff. Afterall, they have to issue a credit for the downtime:)

UPDATE: Sunday 6:30AM EST

We worked with Technicians for a long time last night and we swapped out all the parts we had available and we have found out early this morning that its actually a OS Problem. The error we found in the event viewer is actually a problem with a Windows Security update that did not update properly. Now we can get into the box locally but it will not ping online at this time. So we have scheduled a OS Reinstall for today and I have this on the most Urgent Request possible. I have put this in with both my contractor and Equinex directly as we know it needs to be put online immediatly but with today being sunday and Mothers Day it may take a little longer then desired. Now since it did not come online and was not pingable I could not move the server folders like I wanted to. So this is the reason for the additional downtime and delay.

They said they could move us to a new server right now but we lose all our data and would have to reconfigure everything. No thanks, I'll wait until things get back online later this evening.
