Well I been playing on the server for a while now and thought I'd hit up the website and see what it's all about. I see a lot of familiar faces. A little about me I guess...I'm 22 and I live in some crap town in MI just outside the reach of broadband. Just finished my last week of a classes last week so now I get to work full-time during the summer (joy). Dabbled in 1.6 a little bit, but it wasn't as friendly to 56k. Played FPSs since the Wolfenstein days and haven't stopped since. Favorite games are either HL:TFC, or Quake2 LMCTF. Ehh...I guess that's about all I care to type. See you all on the server!

Welcome to CSGZ! I use to play alot of HL:TFC. I wonder if they're working on a source version of that. It seems like DOD:S is never going to come out so I shouldnt get my hopes up on TFC:S

Where do you live in MI man? I live in a suburb near Detroit called Plymouth/Canton....

I live in Big Rapids. I have some relatives that live near Detriot though, Rochester area.

I'm not sure what engine TFC2 is going to use, but that has been in the making for years it seems. Everytime something new on it comes out I get all excited, and the game just fades out it seems. I'm really looking forward to BF:2 right now though

Dur. Server was on office. CTs were getting whooped pretty badly because the Ts kept rushing the garage and flanking us. So I decided to camp garage and wait. Now this was some time ago, but if memory serves, it was only me and OweN duking it out in the garage. THAT's why I was confused.

Well I may not be on nearly as much any more. Yesterday was my first time playing since the new patch, and now my choke seems to jump anywhere between 20 and 50 consistently. I haven't changed anything in my config as far as I know, and I haven't troubleshot it much. Hopefully I can resolve this, because it just makes playing unbearable. If I could only sell this damn house I could get into an apt. and get on a fat-pipe.

I noticed the same thing. It started in the middle of cs_office last night, and my choke would shoot from 0-50 or 60 in about 2 seconds. Quite unhappy.
