Hey kewl peeple

Me and my pals at the 4HM server have noticed that i keep getting auto-banned from the server. I got a console record of what happens when i try to join and it says something about Cvars and cheating. Here, check it out:

I ****'d out everything you probably don't need and i'd rather not be posting all over the internet.
If you notice it says Sv_cheats needs to be set to 1 for whatever the heck these Cvars are. I think that the Cvar is some sort of delay map change cheat, but i'm just a player i have no idea about the little numbers and special characters making my favorite game work. So that's why i'm asking yous guyses ^_^

BTW: NO I DON'T CHEAT OR HACK! I never downloaded any cheat or hack or used any cheat/hack spray or cheat/hack console code or anything retarded like that! kthnxmyg0tisafag0t

okay i found out they're like console commands or something, but how can i make that cheaty one go bye-bye POOF?

If you got banned by VAC you are our of luck. Those bans are perm bans...

The sv _cheats set at 1 is a server side setting that means, well, no cheats allowed.

well if u changed some of teh sv_ commands that are concidered "cheats" then i would suggest turning them back to default. and i would double check to make sure your steam id isnt just banned from the server. if you are using a .cfg file for loading up commands i would say look in there and make sure that you didnt change any of the sv_ commands. idk much about this stuff so i cant help much. sorry.

by the way, i found out it says the first part, with the Cvar stuff, when i start up counterstrike source. It's just there right away....

I guess the real question is can you connect to any server? If not, I'd say your VAC banned. If you can connect to some servers but not others (or a specific server) you are probably just banned from that server.
