Have you ever tried using the developer console in HL2? :D

there are some extreme things you can do (make the grav gun pick up cars, make the max ammo for crossbow 100, spawn zombies at will, make enemies not see you, etc.).

Ever heard of "gary's mod"??? never used it but know people who have and ive seen some pretty sweet stuff come from it... you should look into it.

Hm, just got garry's mod, it kicks ASS!

Not to mention the minimod which you can add to it... It lets you make npc's :)
