View Full Version : Interesting New Punishment Methods

Rambo_6
I was playing on a garrys mod server the other day. I think it was dedicated.

Anyways, a few guys (including me :P) were bugging this one guy who was trying to make a catapult. We kept roping cars to it. And making random axises all over it.

Anyways, the admin punished us all by binding our W, A, S ,D and Mouse1 to "I like gay sex". This way, when we pushed the buttons, that's what it would say every time :D

Next, he made our characters spin in circles by simply putting "+left" for all of us. I'm not sure how you can do that to someone else, but it's hilarious to watch a flustered player trying to disable it while spinning in circles. You can also type "+attack" "+right" or "+back". To negate these, simply type in the direction you're moving in and change the "+" to a "-"

I think this punishment method is mush more humiliating, and does the job. It also sticks with you as you move from server to server (as i learned). If someone can tell me the specific code you type to make other players inflicted with these punishments, i'd really be thankful.

So why not try it on your CSS Server? :D

Instead of kicking a guy, you could make him prance around in circles singing about why he enjoys gay sex. :p

I think its stupid punishment method, Why always pick on gay people? I think that kick/ban method we use is much better.

Making players do stuff (like dropping their weapons or the bomb) is standard on most mods. We can do it here if we were mean and evil enough :)

The best ever is binding mouse1 to "toss weapon".:D :D

i thought people with rcon could only do it and it dealt with changing the other person config file... all servers are able to do that with or without a mod im pretty sure....

I don't mind slaying someone for 10 rounds in a row to make a point, but I think it's kinda rude to mess with someone's config. Especially if it's a change that they'd have to fix manually.

I only mess with the config file if the person is being a giant asshole. I tried changing yours last night but some jerk off made you an admin so I couldn't:p

Whoa, I'm an admin! Cool!

Rambo_6
Having to fix it actually teaches you a lesson, IMO. I learned to stop being so cruel :P
