Sports Resort is addictive. Features about 12 games - swordplay,
frizbee, jet ski, water surfing, sky diving, cycling, basketball
shooting, table tennis, golf, bowling and a couple other which
escapes my memory at the moment. They'll good fun and most have a
couple options, for example the swordplay features duel (one-on-one
challenge - best of three), quick slice (one-on-one who slices in
the correct direction the fastest - win ten to win the game) and
showdown (single player challenge - take on the other Miis take
three hits = game over).
Its all fun whether you play on your own or challenge a friend or
two.
Fun family gameReviewed by Brian Szczerbinski, 2010-02-28
This game is a fun family game that's meant to be played in groups. By yourself, it only has limited value before it gets old.
Fantastic resort!Reviewed by Orchid, 2010-02-27
This is a great game! It has enough challenges to keep you coming back for more. I've been using it for over a month now and I still haven't even scratched the tip of the iceberg. Nintendo has really created a well-rounded game that has a little something for everyone!
My Wii ExceriseReviewed by Princess Lee, 2010-02-20
The Wii Sports Resort is a great set of games. I originally played
this game at a relatives home and instantly fell in love with it. I
have some mobility issues and when I tried out some of these games
I realized I was able to get up and move around without a ton of
effort, and all the while I was having a blast. I went home and
bought myself a Wii system shortly after that and this was the
first game I sought to buy. Mainly because it has several games
within the one. I love playing all of the games, they are great
fun. I've heard some people complain about the graphics and
although I somewhat agree that in this age of technology you would
think the graphics would be more advanced but for a video game I
think you can adjust to it. It does take a couple of rounds of any
one of the games to get the feel for the controler in that
particular game but once you play them a bit you'll get the feel
for each one.
This game is well worth it's price because it gives you several
games within it to keep you busy for hours. I give it a solid
thumbs up!
